PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. signed a contract with Railway Infrastructure Repair and Maintenance Company in Krakow for nearly PLN 300 million net for the DESIGN AND EXECUTION OF WORKS FOR THE TASK OF PN. Construction and modernization of railway lines and stop infrastructure IMPLEMENTED AS PART OF THE PROJECT “Construction of the Suburban Agglomeration Railway”
The main objective of the Project is to strengthen the role of rail transport and improve the quality of passenger transport services in the area of the Rzeszów agglomeration. The task consists of two parts. The first one covers the construction of a new railway line to the Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport. The second part concerns the expansion of the infrastructure around the stop along the sections of the railway lines where the trains of the Suburban Agglomeration Railway are planned to run on lines No. 71, 91 and 106.
